Paul Excell
Director Operations, BT Group Technology Office
In Paul’s current role he is responsible for ensuring BT’s Innovation, Technology and Venturing programmes deliver customer-centric solutions which in turn drive a 21st Century customer experience/perception, revenue growth and cost reduction.
Paul recently completed a successful secondment as BT’s Director, Mobility and Convergence Development responsible for Mobility (and Convergence) solutions, BT’s ground breaking relationship with Vodafone on products, services and technology, evolution to BT’s 21st Century Network platform, and setting up an Engineering organisation ready to deliver £1Billion in incremental revenue.
Previous to his current role, Paul was Vice President, BT Global Services with end-to-end responsibility for BT’s Internet, Data and Voice Services and Solutions, generating revenues in excess of €3 Billion. Paul passionately believes that technology can be a ‘force for good’ by opening up opportunities for everyone.
